Ignite combines five hands-on modules with dedicated coaching and support, helping participants apply service design to real organizational challenges.
Module 1
The Double Diamond
An introduction to service design and how it connects lived experience with organizational systems to frame challenges and unlock innovation.
Module 2
Discover Problems
Participants learn practical research methods to engage customers, employees and stakeholders, uncover unmet needs and design meaningful research.
Module 3
Define Problems
With research insights collected, participants apply sensemaking to turn data into opportunities by mapping patterns, uncovering barriers, and reframing challenges into problem statements.
Module 4
Develop Solutions
Participants generate new ideas and create simple service prototypes to test quickly with users and stakeholders.
Module 5
Deliver Solutions
Participants use feedback to iterate and strengthen solutions, then build a practical pathway toward implementation.
Virtual Coaching
Virtual coaching sessions between modules help participants apply the tools, refine their work and maintain momentum.

Ignite is delivered over 12 weeks, with five half-day classroom or online sessions held every two weeks.
Coaching and virtual support are provided between modules, bringing the program to a minimum of 21 instructional hours per participant.

Yes, all participants that successfully complete the course receive a record of completion and Ignite certification.

Yes, our training was designed to meet the requirements for several Canadian training grants.

Unfortunately, No. Our training programs require group sizes of at least 5 people and were designed for teams, departments and entire organizations.

Pricing starts at $2,000 per person for a 12 week program hosted in our innovation studio.

Ignite is delivered at our Calgary and Edmonton studios or it can be done virtually.
We can also deliver the program at your organization’s location, but it may require additional travel costs.
