Matt is a former golf pro turned designer, who believes that the user has to be placed at the centre of the services he is designing for.  

He first transitioned into software development with the idea of becoming a digital carpenter for the 21st century but found his way into User Experience (UX) Design along the journey, and has never looked back.

His UX work caught the attention of J5, and he joined our team in the winter of 2022.  Now working with clients like the Government of Alberta, Matt is using design to change the lives of everyday Albertans.
