John is a highly creative and visionary person, unafraid to take risks and push boundaries in pursuit of a kinder, more beautiful future. His primary role is to create an organization that cares deeply for its people and provides them with opportunities to work on the most interesting and meaningful work possible. When he is not leading from within, he is helping others transform their own organizations by putting the human experience at the centre of everything they do. When you're around John, you also can't help but notice his "Let's Do It" attitude which is central to his infectious personality. 

In addition to his J5 work, he sits on the board of SAIT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, Gordie Howe Centre for Alzheimer's Research and Education Society and provides mentorship to students of the University of Victoria’s MBA in Sustainable Innovation.

When not at work, he is spending time with his family and travelling to immerse himself in different cultures and experiences that recharge his batteries and fill his head with new, ideas. When it comes to John the crazier, the better.
